Forehead Reduction and Hairline Lowering Procedure

Forehead Reduction and Hairline Lowering Procedure

Forehead Reduction and Hairline Lowering Procedure

Forehead reduction and hairline lowering procedure is a process that everyone who suffers from a broad forehead resorts to, and this procedure aims to reduce the forehead and bring the hair starting line closer to the eyebrows.

Forehead reduction and hairline lowering procedure can help to treat hereditary alopecia, which includes a receding hairline from the forehead, and in other times the operation may include reducing the size of the forehead bones.

Methods and Types of Forehead Reduction and Hairline Lowering Procedure:

The process is carried out through one of the following methods:

  • Surgical reduction.
  • Reduction by hair transplant.
  • Surgical reduction followed by hair transplantation.

Candidates for Forehead Reduction and Hairline Lowering Procedure:

  • The candidate for forehead reduction and hairline lowering procedure is every adult person who suffers from the problem of a broad forehead or a receding hairline from the front of the head. Whether the problem includes an increase in the size of the forehead bones or not.
  • This person should be in a healthy state, and not suffer from any chronic diseases such as blood pressure, diabetes and blood flow diseases. The person should also be a non-smoker, because smoking makes the recovery process more difficult and increases the length of the expected recovery period.

How is Forehead Reduction and Hairline Lowering Procedure Performed?

The steps of the operation depend on its method, and below we explain the most important methods of performing the procedure:

  • Hair Transplantation on the Front Line:

This method works if the main reason for the large forehead size is genetic baldness.

  • Eyebrow Lift Procedure:

This operation is suitable in the case of the presence of wrinkles in the forehead associated with the broad forehead and the sagging of the eyebrows. This method requires certain proportions of facial features.

  • Forehead Reduction by Skin Extension:

This operation is one of the most popular forehead reduction techniques. It is a two-stage technique that involves implanting a silicone balloon under the scalp. This balloon is gradually filled with a saline solution until the skin containing the hair follicles stretches.

This operation is done under local anesthesia, followed by another operation in which the doctor removes the balloon and cuts the skin from the forehead and uses the technique of cosmetic sewing to ensure that no scars appear.

  • Forehead Reduction Surgery:

This process is extremely rare and is only done in some pathological and tumor cases. It is rarely performed in the case of hereditary forehead enlargement or resulting from hair loss.

  • Unilateral Forehead Reduction with Hair Line Implantation:

This method helps to obtain the best results in the process of forehead reduction, because hair transplantation takes place at the same time as the operation.

In this process, the skin is stretched and connected in one session, then doctors prefer to wait until 3-6 months have passed after the operation before transplanting hair on the front of the head until the results of the operation are completely clear, and thus ideal results can be obtained.

Forehead reduction and hairline lowering procedure is safe, effective, gives satisfactory results and it is affordable.

Plasma Injection for Hair

Plasma Injection for Hair

Plasma Injection for Hair

Plasma injection for hair offers a suitable option for treating hair loss problems. This method is characterized by the use of plasma from the patient’s own blood. Many studies and research have proven the success of this process, and the lack of complications and side effects.

Plasma injection for hair is a solution for many people who suffer from hair loss, especially with age, and are looking for effective and safe ways to treat their hair loss.

Why to Consider Plasma Injection for Hair?

There are many reasons that lead you to think about the procedure of plasma injection for hair, and these reasons may be medical, cosmetic, or various other reasons. The most prominent of these reasons are:

  1. Regression of the hair line or hair loss due to age.
  2. Weakness and hair loss after severe psychological trauma.
  3. Replenish bald spots that ruin the appearance of hair.
  4. Restore the vitality of weak hair.
  5. Restore the youthful appearance of the face by getting thicker hair.

Plasma Injection Advantages:

  • It is a simple and non-surgical procedure, which makes it preferred by many women.
  • An effective way to enhance and maintain the results of a hair transplant.
  • The plasma is taken from the person’s own blood, which means that the plasma is safe and does not cause any side effects or allergic reactions.
  • The operation time is relatively short and the recovery period is very short and almost non-existent.
  • A flexible process that can be combined with other procedures to promote hair growth.

Plasma Injection Disadvantages:

  • The results of the operation are temporary.
  • Some evidence indicates poor results of this method in some cases.
  • Repeat injections raise the total cost of plasma injections in the long term.
  • The results of the injections are poor in cases of diffuse baldness that occurred a long time ago.
  • In some cases, results may be delayed up to six months.

How to Perform Plasma Injection for Hair?

The plasma injection process for hair lasts only half an hour, and its steps can be summarized as follows:

  • Obtaining the plasma: This is done by taking a small blood sample, often from your arm, then centrifuging it with a special machine that separates the platelet-rich plasma from the rest of the blood.
  • Preparation of the injection: By collecting the plasma in special syringes with fine needles, ready to be injected into the treated area.
  • Anesthesia: Lidocaine is used to numb the locally injected area.
  • Injections: At certain points determined by doctor at the beginning of the procedure.

The platelets in the injected plasma are broken down, releasing the beneficial elements they contain, such as growth factors that stimulate cell proliferation and tissue regeneration.

Post-Operative Stage:

  • Avoid exposure to the sun in the two days following the procedure.
  • You may feel that your scalp is tight after the injection, but it is a normal symptom and will go away within a short time.
  • Doctors recommend elevating the head when sleeping to reduce swelling that may sometimes occur after the injection.
  • Avoid washing the injected area during the first 24 hours after the procedure.
  • The doctor may prescribe painkillers such as paracetamol if you feel pain in the area.
  • Avoid hair dyes for a week after the procedure.
  • Tell your doctor right away if you experience abnormal symptoms such as severe pain.

Plasma injection for hair offers a great option for both men and women who suffer from hair loss and this procedure is designed with that in mind.

Beard-hair-transplant

Beard hair transplant

Beard Hair Transplant

Beard hair transplant procedure has become popular nowadays, as it is an effective method for hair transplantation in places where hair does not grow.

Beard hair transplant procedure includes hair transplantation inside the face in order to give the beard density and fill the spaces.

Beard transplantation is a direct procedure that depends on removing hair follicles from the scalp in places where hair grows heavily.

The doctor transplants the hair into the spaces in the beard hair so that the hair begins to grow after that, and the person can start shaving two weeks after the procedure.

Stages of The Beard Hair Transplant Procedure:

  • The First Stage:

The doctor shaves the entire head of hair in order to clearly inspect the hair follicles of the head. The doctor also anesthetizes the patient locally in order to protect the patient from feeling pain during the rest of the procedure steps.

  • The Second Stage:

The doctor pulls the hair follicles from the head and then anesthetizes the patient’s face in the places where he wants to transplant the hair, the doctor then implants the hair follicles inside the beard in a consistent manner and in the form that was agreed with the patient before the operation.

  • The Third Stage:

The third stage is the recovery stage. The patient needs about one day to recover from the beard hair transplant procedure. Some crusts appear around the transplanted hair follicles, but this is not a cause for concern, as it quickly disappears within days.

The patient can start shaving the beard hair a week or ten days after the procedure, hair loss can be observed after two or three weeks, and this is normal, as the hair grows again.

Beard Hair Transplant Side Effects:

The side effects of the beard hair transplant procedure are the occurrence of inflammation or bleeding in the beard, which is rare in the procedure of hair transplantation. Some hair follicles that were transplanted become slightly infected, and there is a possibility of some scars appearing in the transplantation area.

Hair grows after a period of the operation to cover any scars resulting from the operation, and the appearance of the scars depends on the person and the treating doctor.

Post-Beard Transplant Tips:

The doctor gives the person the most important instructions that must be followed after the operation, which includes the use of antibiotics on the head and beard, in addition to following the doctor’s instructions, it is advised to avoid the following things after the operation:

  • Direct exposure to the sun.
  • Using of the sauna or exposure to steam.
  • Exercising that causes sweating.
  • Touching, rubbing, or rubbing the beard transplant area.
  • Washing and rubbing the face, as the skin is sensitive for several days after the procedure, so it is preferable not to touch it completely.

Beard hair transplant procedure is available for everyone, any person can get a beard hair transplant but it is worth noting that the cost of the operation may be expensive for some people.

How Do We Strengthen Our Immune System Against Corona Virus

How Do We Strengthen Our Immune System Against The Corona Virus?

“How do we strengthen our immune system against the Corona virus?” is a frequently asked question, especially in light of the widespread of the Corona virus.

“How do we strengthen our immune system against the Corona virus?” is a question that will be answered accurately in this article.

The Immune System:

Researchers and health specialists warn of the increasing risks of weakening the human immune system in light of the presence of the Corona virus and the increase in deaths. So, does strengthening our immune system protect us from infection with the virus? and what are the healthy and nutritious foods that we should eat?

It is so important to strengthen the human immune system, due to the great role it plays in resisting the epidemic and protecting the body from diseases.

There are healthy and nutritious foods that we must eat.Nutritionists say and confirm that food alone is not sufficient to treat infection with the disease.

We must pay close attention to any external pressures that we may add to our disease in the event that we hit it, and the fears and anxiety we may be exposed to, by staying away as much as possible from these pressures.

Research has shown numerous negative impact of stress on human health, which causes the body’s secretion of the hormone cortisol, making it ready to fight pressure, and neglects the immune system, which causes the weakening in the long term.

Therefore, it is recommended to stay away from stress, meditate, and exercise because it reduces stress.

It is also recommended to stay away from obesity, maintain a moderate weight, get enough sleep at a regular time.

Healthy Food to Strengthen The Immune System:

It is better to always have a variety of food, as well as reduce salt, sugar, and reduce fat in our meals.

It is also important to drink fluids, especially drinking an adequate amount of water between one and two liters per day.

There are some minerals and vitamins that our body needs, such as iron, copper, zinc and vitamins C, D, and they are very important for our immune system.

Vitamin D is present in eggs and fish, but in small quantities, in addition to milk andfortified corn flakes. Exposure to sunlight in nature remains the main and most important source of this vitamin that stimulates the immune system.

We shouldeat healthy snacks regularly, such as walnuts, almonds, dates and dried fruits, because they strengthen immunity.

Do Nutritional Supplements Help The Immune System?

Taking nutritional supplements without consulting a doctoris a big mistake.Because taking them when our body doesn’t need them, they can poison us, make us feel extra tired, and our body works in the opposite way.

These nutritional supplements are available in natural food, and it is better to get them from it.

“How do we strengthen our immune system against the Corona virus?” is a question that stems from concern, so it should motivate us to deal with our food as optimally as mentioned previously.

Coronavirus,Delta Variant of COVID-19

Delta Variant of COVID-19

Delta Variant of COVID-19

Delta variant of COVID-19 is now the main cause of the greatest fear among people around the world.

Delta variant of COVID-19 raises many questions about its danger, and we will answer these questions in this article, and we will continue to update this article as more information becomes available.

What is The Delta Variant?

The Delta variant of COVID-19 has been called a variant of concern by WHO because of its high transmissibility. Where the Delta variant is identified, it quickly and efficiently spreads between people. As of 10 August, the Delta variant has been reported in 142 countries and is expected to continue spreading.

Is The Delta Variant More Contagious?

Yes. The Delta variant is highly contagious, about twice as contagious as previous variants. However, the same precautions, such as avoiding crowded spaces, keeping your distance from others and mask wearing, still work against the Delta variant.

Are The COVID-19 Vaccines Effective Against The Delta Variant?

Yes. The WHO-approved COVID-19 vaccines continue to be highly effective at preventing severe illness and death, including against the Delta variant. When it’s your turn make sure to get vaccinated. If your vaccination involves two doses, it’s important to receive both in order to have the maximum protection.

The vaccines protect most people from getting sick, but no vaccine is 100 per cent effective. A small number of vaccinated people may get infected with COVID-19; this is called breakthrough infection, but they are likely to have milder symptoms. This is why if you live in an area with high-levels of COVID-19 transmission it’s recommended to take additional precautions. If you have been fully vaccinated but are showing symptoms of COVID-19, you should contact your doctor about whether you should get tested.

Are Children More Likely To Contract The Delta Variant?

The Delta variant does not specifically target children. There are increased rates of infection across all age groups. However, the Delta variant is more contagious than other strains and people who are mixing socially and those who are unvaccinated are more susceptible to contracting the Delta variant.

How Can I Protect Myself And My Family Against The Delta Variant?

Here are some key ways to protect yourself and your loved ones:

  • Avoid crowded spaces and keep your distance from others.
  • Keep all indoor spaces well ventilated (this can be as simple as opening a window).
  • Wear a mask when in public places where there is community transmission and where physical distancing is not possible.
  • Wash your hands regularly with soap and water or an alcohol-based hand rub.
  • When it’s your turn, get vaccinated. WHO-approved COVID-19 vaccines are safe and effective.

What is The Delta Plus Variant?

The Delta Plus variant contains a new mutation in the spike protein the virus uses to enter human cells. Because it is closely linked to the Delta variant, it’s been called Delta Plus rather than another letter in the Greek alphabet. So far, Delta Plus has been found in relatively low numbers.

Delta variant of COVID-19 is spreading quickly around the world, so we must adhere to the prevention instructions.

The Different Types of COVID-19 Vaccines

The Different Types of COVID-19 Vaccines

The Different Types of COVID-19 Vaccines

This article is part of a series of explainers on vaccine development and distribution.

The Different Types of COVID-19 Vaccines, As of December 2020, there are over 200 vaccine candidates for COVID-19 being developed. Of these, at least 52 candidate vaccines are in human trials. There are several others currently in phase I/II, which will enter phase III in the coming months.

Why Are There So Many Vaccines in Development?

Typically, many vaccine candidates will be evaluated before any are found to be both safe and effective. For example, of all the vaccines that are studied in the lab and laboratory animals, roughly 7 out of every 100 will be considered good enough to move into clinical trials in humans.

Of the vaccines that do make it to clinical trials, just one in five is successful. Having lots of different vaccines in development increases the chances that there will be one or more successful vaccines that will be shown to be safe and efficacious for the intended prioritized populations.

The Different Types of Vaccines:

There are three main approaches to designing a vaccine. Their differences lie in whether they use a whole virus or bacterium; just the parts of the germ that triggers the immune system; or just the genetic material that provides the instructions for making specific proteins and not the whole virus.

Inactivated Vaccine:

The first way to make a vaccine is to take the disease-carrying virus or bacterium, or one very similar to it, and inactivate or kill it using chemicals, heat or radiation. This approach uses technology that’s been proven to work in people – this is the way the flu and polio vaccines are made – and vaccines can be manufactured on a reasonable scale.

However, it requires special laboratory facilities to grow the virus or bacterium safely, can have a relatively long production time, and will likely require two or three doses to be administered.

Live-attenuated Vaccine:

A live-attenuated vaccine uses a living but weakened version of the virus or one that’s very similar. The measles, mumps and rubella (MMR) vaccine and the chickenpox and shingles vaccine are examples of this type of vaccine.

This approach uses similar technology to the inactivated vaccine and can be manufactured at scale. However, vaccines like this may not be suitable for people with compromised immune systems.

Viral Vector Vaccine:

This type of vaccine uses a safe virus to deliver specific sub-parts – called proteins – of the germ of interest so that it can trigger an immune response without causing disease. To do this, the instructions for making particular parts of the pathogen of interest are inserted into a safe virus.

The safe virus then serves as a platform or vector to deliver the protein into the body.  The protein triggers the immune response. The Ebola vaccine is a viral vector vaccine and this type can be developed rapidly.

A subunit vaccine is one that only uses the very specific parts (the subunits) of a virus or bacterium that the immune system needs to recognize. It doesn’t contain the whole microbe or use a safe virus as a vector.

The subunits may be proteins or sugars. Most of the vaccines on the childhood schedule are subunit vaccines, protecting people from diseases such as whooping cough, tetanus, diphtheria and meningococcal meningitis.

The Genetic Approach (Nucleic Acid Vaccine):

Unlike vaccine approaches that use either a weakened or dead whole microbe or parts of one, a nucleic acid vaccine just uses a section of genetic material that provides the instructions for specific proteins, not the whole microbe. DNA and RNA are the instructions our cells use to make proteins. In our cells, DNA is first turned into messenger RNA, which is then used as the blueprint to make specific proteins.

A nucleic acid vaccine delivers a specific set of instructions to our cells, either as DNA or mRNA, for them to make the specific protein that we want our immune system to recognize and respond to.

Eyebrow-Transplant-turkey

Eyebrow Transplant

Eyebrow Transplant

Eyebrow transplant is an excellent procedure and many women do not know that it is something that can be done easily. Eyebrows are a major facial feature that helps to define a person’s face. They make a huge difference in your overall appearance.

Who Might Benefit from Eyebrow Transplants?

  • Burns to the eyebrow area
  • Scarring
  • Tumors

Eyebrow Transplant Benefits:

  • Simple out-patient procedure.
  • Create the look you want.
  • Rich, lasting results which you can enjoy every time you look into the mirror, or someone else looks at you.

Often patients have over plucked their eyebrows or as they mature an age, they lose the lateral aspect of the eyebrows and it is often seen in pictures where it looks like they have no eyebrows whatsoever.

How to Prepare?

Once you have scheduled your treatment, there is little preparation. The only precaution to take is to avoid anticoagulants like aspirin or Motrin prior to the surgery. Practical considerations may include the avoidance of any exfoliative or potentially irritating cosmetic procedures or products to the eyebrow area prior to the surgical date, as well as to avoid excessive sun exposure.

The Procedure:

Eyebrow hair transplantation is performed as an in-office, outpatient procedure using oral sedation and local anesthesia. General anesthesia is not required.

Before beginning transplantation, the brow shape is drawn on the area so you can verify shape and fullness.

Utilizing local anesthesia, hair is harvested typically from the back of the head by either removing a strip of donor hair, which is then divided into individual hairs using microscopes, or punched out one-by-one.

These donor hairs are then placed within the planned eyebrow area into individual tiny incision sites just large enough to accept the hair follicle. Once transplanted, the follicles will grow new hairs beginning 3-4 months after the procedure and best results are seen at 6-8 months.

Aftercare:

Post-operatively, there’s very little discomfort, and patients are usually prescribed antibiotics, painkillers, and oral steroids. Expecting minimal swelling above the region, possibly some black and blue depending on the nature of things. But overall, it’s very easy to tolerate. Bruising and swelling can last for a few days. Crust will probably form around each recipient site. This is normal, and you should avoid picking to prevent infection.

Periodic Grooming will be Necessary:

The only difference between natural eyebrow hair and eyebrow transplant hair is that it will continue to grow, just as the hair on your head grows. Periodic eyebrow grooming will be necessary to keep the hair’s eyebrow length.

Eyebrow transplant, by well-sculpted brow lines give harmony and are integral part of facial balance and aesthetic symmetry. Since eyebrows have their own unique characteristics, eyebrow implants is different from hair transplants in a number of important way.

Eyebrow transplants for suitable candidates often see good results within the first two years. After that, the results can fade and hairs often fall out. Sometimes the results can last for years after the initial surgery. If you choose to get eyebrow transplants, be prepared for a possible touch-up procedure in the future.
